After several years of working in the insurance industry for other companies, Ashley Wyatt founded his own agency in 1995 with a vision to create a customer-focused firm that would provide comprehensive insurance services to businesses and individuals alike. As the business grew over the years, Ashley realized that in order to expand the agency's reach and capabilities, he needed to build a strong leadership team. This led to Ashley recruiting Cliff Horne to join the agency and lead the employee benefits division in 2002. Cliff’s expertise in employee benefits helped expand the agency’s offerings and provided a foundation for future growth. Cliff became a partner in the agency in 2007.

This was also the year that Ashley saw an opportunity for expansion in the rapidly growing Middle Tennessee market. With this in mind, Ashley reached out to Beverly Taylor, a seasoned professional in the medical recruiting industry, to lead a new office in Clarksville, Tennessee. Beverly’s leadership and deep connections in the area proved invaluable in building a presence in Clarksville and fostering relationships in the local business community.

In 2012, another key figure joined the agency—Andy Huddleston. Andy's leadership and dedication to his clients and business growth helped shape the next decade of the agency's history. In 2020, Andy joined Ashley and Cliff as a partner in the business, further solidifying the leadership team. Under their combined leadership, the agency focused on serving the construction and nonprofit industries, two sectors in which they developed strong expertise. The partners also prioritized and encouraged community involvement via donating their time and resources to our local non-profits.

From its humble beginnings with Ashley running the agency alone, the agency grew to be a strong presence in the Tennessee insurance community. As the insurance industry continued to evolve, the agency adapted to meet the changing demands of the market. In 2024, after much consideration, the partners decided to join forces with HUB International Midsouth, a move that would allow them to offer their clients world-class resources, expanded market access, and cutting-edge risk management services, while still maintaining their local service and community-focused approach. This partnership marked an exciting new chapter for the agency as it continued to evolve and serve its clients with the highest level of expertise and service.
