Robert Hartman

Rob Hartman serves as Executive Vice President of Strategic Client Service Operations and is a member of the Executive Management Team. He leads HUB’s Field Operations team and oversees client data strategies.

In his role, Hartman partners with regional and line of business leadership to develop programs to drive scale and best practices in operational and client service functions across the enterprise. Hartman also oversees client data strategies, ensuring high-quality data and insights that help inform the decision-making of HUB’s clients and teams.

Prior to joining HUB in September 2023, Hartman was the Chief Operating Officer of Specialty Insurance & Reinsurance at AXIS Capital, a global specialty (re)insurer. Prior to AXIS, Hartman was a Partner at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he was a member of the Insurance Practice and led the Pittsburgh office for over five years. He began his career as a Naval Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Hartman received a B.S. in Mathematics with Distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He and his family reside in the Pittsburgh area.
