Joe Hyde, Chief Financial Officer of HUB, serves on the Executive Management Team. He brings an extensive financial and operational management background to the organization. Hyde is responsible for numerous functions at HUB on both a corporate and regional basis, including financial planning and analysis, investor relations, accounting, internal audit, treasury, tax, procurement and real estate. Since joining HUB in August 2012, Hyde has implemented transformational initiatives across his team that have elevated performance, efficiency, and the company’s control environment. These initiatives have included centralization strategies and the addition of talent, streamlined processes, and financial technology platforms. He has also overseen the successful completion of numerous multi-billion debt and equity capital markets transactions for the company.

Prior to joining HUB, Hyde served as the President — International for Global Payments (NYSE: GPN), a Fortune 500 financial technology company specializing in payment processing and software. Based in London, he was responsible for managing the company’s international business segment, which at that time included more than 20 Asia-Pacific and European markets with over $600 million in annual revenue. He also previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the company’s headquarters in Atlanta, helping to spin-off GPN into a publicly traded company in 2001 and leading its international merger and acquisition strategy.

Prior to Global Payments, Hyde served in New York as a management consultant with Alvarez & Marsal, focusing on operational turnaround engagements. He began his career as an investment banker in New York with The Blackstone Group in its restructuring and reorganization business, focusing on distressed capital structure advisory, business valuation, and merger and acquisition execution. Hyde holds a BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
