President and Chief Executive Officer

Marc I. Cohen is President and Chief Executive Officer of HUB International and is a member of its Board of Directors.

HUB's Board of Directors includes members from private equity firms Hellman & Friedman, Altas Partners and Leonard Green & Partners.

A 35-year veteran in the insurance industry, Marc began his insurance career in 1988 at Walter Kaye Associates.

Marc was named President of HUB International in 2017 and CEO in 2018 and was also named a member of the Board of Directors. In 2025 he was named Chairman of the Board, a seat he held until 2026. Since 2018, the firm’s valuation has nearly tripled reaching $29B in 2025. In his tenure, HUB has also grown its commercial lines expertise across multiple industries and expanded employee benefits solutions throughout the US and across Canada. Additionally, during this time, HUB has built a platform of runway businesses to broaden its portfolio, including digital insurance solutions like VIU by HUB, practices for Retirement and Private Wealth and Private Client, and a robust network of HUB-owned wholesalers and MGAs. Combined, these runway business account for nearly 25% of the firm’s revenue.

Previously, Marc was appointed President of Program Brokerage Corporation (PBC) and Claims Administration Corporation (CAC), HUB Northeast’s (HUB NOE) wholesale insurance subsidiary and claims management divisions, respectively in 1999. In those positions, he was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s program management and wholesale activities.

In 2004, Marc was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of HUB International Group Northeast Limited and had full responsibility for the region’s retail and wholesale operations in the Northeast. He went on to become President of HUB’s US East Region, a territory stretching from Maine to Puerto Rico, in 2014. As President of the US East Region, Marc sat on the firm’s Executive Management Team.

Marc earned his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.
